Official Wedding Events
Saturday
Welcome dinner! 6:30pm at the Women's Building,
3543 18th St. (between
Guerrero and Valencia). A 10-minute walk from the nearest BART stop at 16th and Mission.
Sunday
Picnic wedding! 1pm at the Laurel picnic site in
Tilden
Regional Park in Berkeley, CA. Two shuttles will leave
from the Parc 55 hotel (11:30am and 11:45am) and return in
the afternoon. The ceremony will be followed by music, food, and games. This will be an
informal event in a meadow, so attire
is casual or dressy casual, as you wish! Either way, remember that the temperature in the Bay Area can
vary drastically within a few hours (from 75-50 degrees!), so please bring layers! Also, a warning for
high-heel lovers: the wedding will take
place in a meadow -- stilettos will certainly sink into the ground. We recommend flats, wedges, or a willingness
to take off your shoes :) We ask that those with cars
arrange carpools since parking is tight!
Monday
8:30am to 11am brunch for out-of-town guests at the Parc
55 Hotel.
